EYEFILM MUSEUM POSTERS

dis copenhagen graphic design foundations studio

spring 2018

For this project, I was assigned to research and design print media for the Eye Film Museum in Amsterdam, both generally and with attention to their annual prize in filmmaking.

Biking around Copenhagen during my semester abroad, I observed that most posters and advertisements that colored my commute were hung in clusters. I decided to make posters that could be layered and stacked on lampposts, construction barriers, and walls. This concept of movement and transportation extends more loosely to the idea of our eyes moving across a screen, page, or scene. The colors and images came from their current website graphics and are based on the framework of Eye Film's current visual identity created by Joseph Burrin.
